#BETHECHANGERVA works to improve the academic achievement, self-esteem, social competence, and avoidance of problem/high-risk behavior of inner-city youth. #BETHECHANGERVA provides our youth with positive role model- relationships to help them achieve their fullest potential. The focus of outcomes for this program is targeted toward youth as the primary recipients of services.

MEET OUR STAFF

Robert Dunham has been teaching in Richmond Public Schools for 3 years. In 2017 he founded "Reynolds Academy", as he has future efforts to start an after-school program and an all-boys school in Richmond, Virginia. Seeing the great need to enrich the Richmond communities for young boys, he launched Bethechangerva as a way to help foster positive change for Richmond's youth.

Shaquana Armstrong-Dunham is an author and wellness coach in the city of Richmond. She wrote the book, "The Way I Died and How I'm Living Again" which details her struggles with diabetes and obesity and how she overcame those struggles. She has dedicated her life to assisting youth by promoting healthy lifestyle choices through Wellness Coaching and mentoring.
